Humanitarian Storytellers

Kelsi Klembara

A wanderer by nature, Kelsi is most at peace learning about new places and visiting with new people. Kelsi is motivated to tell stories with the power to change how people understand and interact with their surrounding world. Her goal is to share truth that moves people to hopeful action within both the good and bad realities our world faces. Through her writing and photography, Kelsi hopes to educate people about poverty, women’s rights and God’s movement within creation.

Kelsi has visited 20 countries and most recently returned from a year in Nairobi, Kenya, where she worked in communications for the human rights organization, International Justice Mission. Raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and educated in West Texas, Kelsi loves the southwestern landscape and has an affinity for all things turquoise. She is currently based in Dallas, TX, where she is focusing her attention on reportage and editorial storytelling. She has written and/or photographed for Hill Country Hill Tribers, The Seed Company, International Justice Mission, A Glimmer of Hope and Noonday Collection among other organizations.

Kelsi is a proud member of the co-working and studio space, WELD, and available to work anywhere around the world.
