In May, I traveled to Ethiopia for an organization called FashionABLE that works to create a sustainable business in Africa so that people don't rely on charity. On the last day of my visit, my friend/model Zide Seleshi White drove to the top of Entoto Mountain and did a photoshoot with the scarves. it began to rain about 10 minutes into the shoot, but we kept shooting and I loved the results. The Eucalyptus forest was to die for.
Saturday, August 9th I will be popping into The Declare Conference and sharing about my recent trip to Botswana with The Seed Company during the lunch hour. Can't wait to share about these incredible people and the experience I had with them.

A few years ago I had the opportunity to shoot a photo story for National Geographic Adventure in Austin, Texas. The story featured the top 100 adventure towns in the US. I loved spending time in the good ole' ATX capturing photos of my friend canoeing in Lady Bird Lake. I live in Dallas now, but Austin is still one of my favorite places to go in Texas and explore the outdoors.
